Little Simz is back with a blast of inspiring feminism, with her new track 'Woman', featuring long-time collaborator Cleo Sol. Alongside the new single is an impressive self-directed music video that shows glamorous women dance in a lavish country house alongside Simz. 'Woman' is a celebration of black women - their beauty, intelligence and strength, with Simz' reeling off countries, cities and inspiring figures throughout time. Over the uplifting track, she explains, 'You ain't nothing without a woman, woman to woman, I wana see you glow'. In a society that favours white beauty standards, and seeks to put all women at competition with each other, whilst playing on their insecurities, it's utterly refreshing and inspiring to hear a song that completely rejects that notion. In her own words, the new track is a "soulful love letter to women around the world". She continues, "I love it when I see women doing their thing and looking flawless; I’m here for that! It’s empowering, it’s inspiring; I wanted to say thank you and I wanted to celebrate them".
